I
know how people like to discuss things and have therefore arranged a forum site
at MSN so you can have your say. I think the site offers great versatility and
can allow great possibilities. How would past masters made use of this facility?![]()
Why Horse Café
All horsemen have made observations and have through their own experiences developed theories. I do not say mine are correct but they are as correct as my knowledge allows for this moment, for tomorrow is a new day with new experiences and feelings. Enjoy reading my thoughts, you may agree or disagree as you like but if I have made you think just a little then I find that a reward in itself. It is important for riders to have their thoughts aired to others because in debate we do not allow our own ideas to become stale.
We are lucky to have a media that allows this to happen world wide. Past masters did not have this facility and could only do these things by talking and books. We could with proper web discussion become more enlightened and possibly start a new era of the art of horsemanship. People are becoming governed by competition. This is not art. Ride for yourself firstly then go and enjoy the competition.
I have followed a particular source of horsemanship but have found over the
years that there is only one form of this art and that is good horsemanship.
When it is executed correctly it is always good and the principles that I
have tried to lay down here will not change. I know I can write a lot more
on the subject but I have tried to be brief deliberately as I know people
will not spend time reading pages and pages on the net. I will possibly add
to this site from time to time so read, think, pass it on and come back for
more thought.
